White paper location

Marlow Weston

Hi All,

I have approval to move material over for the landscape and use cases doc from a document started by Huamin Chen, Niki Manoledaki, and myself.

Options:
1) Start in the github under a whitepaper directory using markdown.
2) hackmd with authenticated users editing.
3) Google doc (harder to get credit per user and formatting is hard)
4) Carrier pigeon
5) something else?

Please vote on which and I'll get that started before the next meeting.

Thank you,

Hi,

Awesome to see some work getting started!
I would request to do such polls on GitHub Discussion which has a poll function, so the mail boxes are not fluted by spam of 1-5s.

Thank you!
Max

Option 1) sounds good!

3) works fine as well, but I agree it is harder to get credit per user.

If we want to consider (2) for live collaboration sessions, I know that HackMD also supports syncing w/ GitHub (both push and pull)!

Hi all,
The 1st is my favorite option, but also the 2nd if sync work well.

According to feedback through this thread, I've created us a team on hackmd, which you can find here:
https://hackmd.io/@sustainability

I've started the doc in the wg in a fork I have, since I don't have permissions to actually do this through the proper repo at this time.

So if you have an aversion to hackmd.io, you can go through github, and we can make sure the changes stay synced.

Please feel free to contribute/add to the document!  I'll be quick about merging PRs if anyone needs.

Also please tell me if you'd like to be added to the hackermd.io team.  I'll be quick on it-promise!

Many thanks!
