San Diego retrospective summary and next steps

Mark Coleman

Well-being working group,

Thanks for your patience, that cold took me out of action for a lot longer than expected!

I also spoke to Dan about the day zero event idea and he had some useful input and feedback.

1. Dan recommends we start small and take the Package A co-located event from the prospectus
2. For lunch, with such a small group, we can just go to a restaurant on-site
3. We would need to raise the $24k sponsorship
4. CNCF would underwrite the sponsorship in case we failed to reach the full amount, however if we do fail in Amsterdam this offer would not be extended for Boston

With Amsterdam approaching quickly, we need to discuss both the day zero event and the other tasks on the list ASAP. I've created a new Doodle so we can keep this moving next week.

Gentle nudge: We need to make a decision about day zero event at this week's meeting so if you'd like to be involved in that, please fill in the Doodle poll ASAP: https://doodle.com/poll/9xuu4286e3bmxs37

Well-being working group,

Thanks for stating your preferences for the next meeting. In order to accommodate everyone in tomorrow's important planning conversation I've chosen to turn the meeting into an 'office hours'. I'll be online between 4pm and 7pm UK time which I believe covers everyone who replied.

Please drop in when you can and we'll build out the plan for Amsterdam.

Mark
