FYI: CNCF Community Survey Results for 2019

Chris Aniszczyk

Hey TOC and wider community, we recently ran surveys across different community constituencies (maintainers, ambassadors, end users etc) to ensure we are always meeting their needs and improving over time. We have open sourced and shared the data here: https://github.com/cncf/surveys

There's also a summary here that may be easier than the raw data:

Thanks everyone who responded, this helps us plan for things going forward in 2020.

I noticed an action item that read:

China-friendly meetings and tools

Do many of the projects think about i18n for their UIs (both web interfaces and CLIs)? Would this be more useful? I think it would be but I don't see much talk about it.

From what I've heard, although developers in China have some level of technical English, they can usually read Chinese much faster so i18n would be much appreciated.
