Proposal - the future of Sandbox
-1 The TOC should NOT step away from shepherding projects at any stage. The SIGs are an essential HELP but not a substitute for the TOC. The 'sandbox' is not "a playground for ideas". I'm sorry Erin b

Proposal - the future of Sandbox
What are we trying to achieve with this initiative? How to weed out dead sandbox projects? Let's weed them out.

+1 thanks Eduardo Quinton I understand and I think agree with the principles, but I don't think the details are clear. Let me list some examples. 1) Nats has non-Synadia maintainers & core maintainers

Big congratulations to Alena, that is very well deserved and great news. Extended applause for Brian, without whose care and eye for relevant detail we'd probably be completely off grid. <ascavarda@li

Point of process
I believe the issue here is simple. The CNCF is an open organisation and should not develop its own projects in secret. End of story. We saw this happen before eg "cloud native network functions" [1],

[cncf-gb] KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Amsterdam is taking place March 30 to April 2 as planned
I've heard of numerous tech vendors banning travel, including across the US. Same for big banks. I fear that the current issue may be one of insurance liabilities.
