TOC review / approval of PR for improved project templates

Dawn Foster

Hi TOC members,

In the TOC meeting yesterday during the TAG Contributor Strategy Update, we mentioned that we’ve been waiting for a review on a PR in the CNCF templates repo that adds values to each governance template and makes improvements to the README template. We haven’t been assigned new TOC reps yet, so we were hoping that someone on the TOC could have a quick look and provide feedback. Dims already approved it, but it would be great to have a second pair of eyes on it.

https://github.com/cncf/project-template/pull/18

Since this has been out there a while, and it does have approval from Dims, our plan is to go ahead and merge it a week from now unless we get approval from another TOC rep before then.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers,
Dawn

I like this DD format. It's a lot cleaner than copying the various,
