FWIW, Contributors Summit staff is mentioned plan B in our meeting this week. We hope it’ll go on but, we also understand it might not be CNCF’s decision.

That's also an option if we could choose to get a refund.
Example, KubeCon is my last conf for next few months as we are expecting. If it gets rescheduled then I won't be able to join.

Switzerland as well as France have just banned all indoor meetings with more than 1000 and 5000 attendees. This new policy will probably be followed by many others EU countries, if not all.

I also support the idea of making the plan to have all options in place considering that cases in Italy skyrocketed as well as companies have put complete travel ban and not allowing the entry in some
