Dear TAG Network Liaisons, Liz Rice and Dave Zolotusky, and all TOC members:
TAG Network has an open need for a third co-chair. As the presiding co-chairs of TAG Network, Ken Owens and I have identified a longstanding member of TAG Network both befitting of and willing to assume this role:
Ed Warnicke. We are delighted that Ed is willing to increase his stewardship of TAG Network’s ongoing and forthcoming initiatives.
Ed Warnicke is a Distinguished Engineer at Cisco Systems. He has been working for nearly two decades in many areas of networking and Open Source. Ed is currently the FD.io TSC Chair, and a founder of and active
contributor to the Network Service Mesh project. Ed has a masters in Physics (String Theory) from Rutgers University.
Among other noteworthy activities, Warnicke is on the TAC at LFN and the TAC at LFPH. He is a founding TSC member at OpenDaylight, is consistently in the top 60 individuals (#47 currently) on devstat for most
PRs opened on CNCF projects, and is formerly a Wireshark maintainer.
Please consider our nomination of Ed Warnicke as a TAG Network co-chair. As you do, know that Ed’s addition will bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the group as well as increase the bandwidth for the TAG to liaise with other
groups.
Please reply to this email to vote. As always, the CNCF encourages non-binding votes from the community, along with the required votes of TOC members.

Dear TAG Observability Liaisons and all TOC members,
We the co-chairs and technical lead for TAG Observability nominate Alolita Sharma, (CC’ed) as the third co-chair for TAG Observability. She has confirmed her interest, passion and that she will
be able to invest sufficient time and priority to this role.
Most of you will know her from her work on the Governing Board of OpenTelemetry, Wikipedia, and Unicode.
Her words follow:
Alolita is Principal Technologist at AWS where she leads open source observability strategy and engineering for OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Cortex and Grafana. In OpenTelemetry, she leads the
interoperability workgroup ensuring OpenTelemetry protocol and metrics implementation are fully compatible with Prometheus. Alolita also serves as a member of the OpenTelemetry Governance Committee and as a board director of the Unicode Consortium. She contributes
to open standards on the Unicode Technical Committee and W3C. She has served on the boards of the OSI and SFLC.in. Alolita has built and led engineering teams at Wikipedia, Twitter, PayPal and IBM. Two decades of doing open source continue to inspire her.
You can find her on Twitter @alolita.
Please consider our nomination of Alolita Sharma as a TAG Observability co-chair. Alolita’s vision, domain expertise and perspective will be invaluable to the TAG, it’s growing community and
the TOC.
We ask that you formally vote and invite the wider community to support this nomination with non-binding votes.

VOTE: Establishing the Cooperative Delivery Working Group with TAG App Delivery
Hello,
TAG App Delivery would like to put forward the proposal to form a
new Cooperative Delivery working
group and asks for TOC approval voting
The cooperative delivery working group focuses on bringing infrastructure/platform delivery and application delivery closer together. Often responsibilities,
lifecycles and processes are decoupled which leads to real world issues. Full-stack – infra and app – delivery workflows are often still brittle and break easily. The working group is a collaboration of projects in the app and infra space as well as end users
developing best practices solving coming problems.
The charter and outline of the group can be found here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1n8AtfQQGJIJrsU-F-oGN6DVXE76E8OVCXsPpXkWgmBo/edit?usp=sharing
