Concur +1 nb. I’m so excited for the CNCF‘s success with Stephen’s leadership. SIG Contributor Strategy, as I’ve said, is the most important SIG in the CNCF to help the TOC’s continued operations.

FWIW I think Stephen would make an awesome SIG Contributor Strategy Chair. +Amye Scavarda Perrin could you please help kick off an official TOC vote to ratify?

Requesting TOC vote on Stephen Augustus as SIG Contributor Strategy Chair
Hi TOC, Gerred has sent a step-down notice on the SIG Contributor Strategy list and recommended me to replace him as SIG Contributor Strategy Chair. Based on https://github.com/cncf/toc/blob/master/sigs/cncf-sigs.md#elections, it looks like Chairs must be appointed by a 2/3 majority of the TOC. I've opened https://github.com/cncf/toc/pull/485 to start this process. Let me know if there's anything else that needs to be done on the SIG Contributor Strategy side! -- Stephen

Update on Sandbox Process Review -- to TOC
Amye Scavarda Perrin
The TOC met on Tuesday to review the projects that have currently applied for Sandbox and trial the new process for Sandbox inclusion. This meeting was recorded and is made public here. The following projects pass a TOC vote for inclusion in the Sandbox: CNI-Genie: passes a TOC vote for inclusion Keptn: passes a TOC vote for inclusion Kudo: passes a TOC vote for inclusion Cloud Custodian: passes a TOC vote for inclusion Dex: passes a TOC vote for inclusion LitmusChaos: passes a TOC vote for inclusion Artifact Hub: passes a TOC vote for inclusion Kuma: passes a TOC vote for inclusion Parsec: passes a TOC vote for inclusion K3s: postponed to further discussion BFE: passes a TOC vote for inclusion Crossplane: governance feedback, passes a TOC vote for inclusion If you're a maintainer of one of these projects we will be reaching out with more onboarding details shortly. The TOC had questions or additional information required from the following projects (we will be reaching out to the maintainers directly about these): Kamus, Victoria Metrics, ChaosMesh, Metal3-io The only project that there wasn't time to cover in this meeting was k3s, which the TOC will discuss on July 14th. Moving forward, the TOC will adopt this new process. Projects that want to apply for inclusion into the sandbox should apply using this form, and the TOC will review new applications every two months. We'll add an item on the agenda for next week's TOC meeting to discuss any questions about this new process, and we will be updating the docs about this new process shortly.
