CNCF K8s Conformance WG Meeting Monday, 4/17 3:30 PM at DockerCon Austin

Dan Kohn <dan@...>

CNCF is forming a working group to discuss Kubernetes Software Conformance and the potential for an associated branding program for conformant implementations. If your company provides software based on Kubernetes, I encourage you to join the working group by having interested individuals subscribe to this mailing list:

Here is a list of known Kubernetes-related software offerings put together by Joseph Jacks: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LxSqBzjOxfGx3cmtZ4EbB_BGCxT_wlxW_xgHVVa23es/edit . If you see errors or know of additional software products missing from that spreadsheet, please mention it on the list.

Here are some background slides put together by William Denniss, who recently joined Googlle's Kubernetes team after representing Google Identity in the IETF and OpenID communities: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1oz6Nm48oJLrfrG7bRWCVBEmNNJPTD709UFhRUF0s4PE/

We plan to hold the first official meeting of the working group from 3:30 to 5:30 PM on Monday, 4/17. The meeting is taking place in the Brazos Room of the JW Marriott Austin. To attend, you need to RSVP here: https://goo.gl/forms/CkdqyayYvzYzG6ib2 . If you can't make it in person, a Google Hangout videoconference will be available, with details sent on the mailing list.

Afterwards, we will walk over to the Kubernetes Zone reception and panel being held nearby <https://www.eventbrite.com/e/kubernetes-zone-workshop-andor-reception-tickets-32538282880>, which also requires a separate RSVP. I hope to see you in Austin.
