FWIW: Earlier today, Cockroach Labs issued a ban on non-essential travel and now, we will wait to determine if Kubecon is essential.  We have defined essential travel as anything that has a direct revenue impact.  Kubecon absolutely impacts revenue for us (and we love it), however, we will try to discern what attendance might look like to determine essentiality for this particular event.  We will make a go/no go later this week or early next.
