I am a little concerned by OpenShift being completely omitted from the survey all together.

I would of course like to see it in the next survey (not sure when that is) but would like to understand why

it wasn't considered a valid option.

CNCF staff put it together. We try not to change it too much from survey to survey to make the results comparable, although there is a fundamental lack of statistical meaningfulness to the whole exercise.
