Highlights from today's meeting
Hello everyone,
Just a quick update on today’s meeting:
- Demo Application.
- I created a first version codename podTato Head. You can find it here: https://github.com/AloisReitbauer/appdelivery-demo . It is very simplistic right now with a single service. But already showcases the use of several delivery tools.
- Working document for Operator definition.
- Thomas together with others was updating the document. Please take a look: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1daXHyR2yG5ArjO1PO83v4a0fmLCLo2kYNT3TwGZksng/edit#heading=h.nnnd3pbrryjy
- Meeting in the week of Kubecon
- We decided to cancel as most people will likely be too busy.
- Waypoint from Hashicorp. Get them to present at one of the upcoming meetings.
We see that participation in the meeting is currently quite low. In case you are not joining the bi-weekly please drop me a short note why:
- Bad time. I usually have other things to do at time. Which time would work better?
- Don’t get a lot out of the meetings. What would you expect?
- I am good just rather want to interact async. Would you like Slack or the mailing list?
- Other reason: please let me know
// Alois
For reference this was the continuous deliver radar done a while back by the CNCF: https://radar.cncf.io/2020-06-continuous-delivery

Thanks Alois! The "podtato" is super awesome!
Btw, based on today's discussion, the SIG app delivery is also thinking for CNCF Radar for application delivery and management. This should be a informative approach to let the community know better the current status of the projects in app delivery area.
Though I personally don't want to restrict CNCF Radar to end user community only, since I can see the vendors can also bring many insightful feedback on the adoption of certain projects from different angles.
Feel free to let us know your thought on this iterm and we are egar to make it happen!
