Hi Carlton, Thank you for your interest for Falcosidekick. You're right, the SASL auth mechanisms for Kafka will be available in v2.27.0. I wanted to release it before Christmas but a blocking PR and my following holidays made me postponed the release. I've also noticed an issue with CircleCI and GoReleaser in Falcosidekick-UI, and the workflow is the same, I think the issue will be also there for Falcosidekick. This is my top prio for first week of 2023, all Falcosecurity organization maintainers and I will be back and we will fix all parts. Regards;

Hi All I am new here so apologies for any rude behavior. I am working on a project to introduce Falco to my company's infra as the cloud protection solution. We want to send events and alerts to a Kafka Topic which requires SASL. However current version of Falco Sidekick (v2.26.0) does not support Kafka auth. But there's PR to support it merged in master. How do we request a new release of Falco Sidekick? Thanks! |
